In this workshop, we unlock the choir’s rhythmic potential by exploring pulse, groove, and timing to strengthen unity and musicality. Starting with body percussion and simple movements, singers build a shared rhythmic foundation, connecting physically and musically to the beat. Layered rhythms and syncopation exercises challenge each section to hold its part while syncing with the group’s energy. As singers embody these rhythms, adding lyrics becomes seamless, making every performance feel natural and vibrant. By gradually deepening rhythmic skills over multiple rehearsals, the choir gains confidence and cohesion, transforming rhythm into an intuitive, expressive tool. At this workshop you will meet Kristoffer Fynbo Thorning & Tine Fris-Ronsfeld. The language will be English, but you are welcome to write your questions and comments in your own language.
